Are You Considering Tattoo Removal?

It’s funny how everyone searches for their identity. We know it’s out there somewhere, waiting for us, but we’re not so sure how to find it. That’s why countless adults and teenagers get piercings and tattoos. We want to be unique and make a statement that no one else can. What a joke!

Getting a tattoo or piercing will only makes us blend in more. Why? Because so many people already have them. You’d be more unique in today’s society if you didn’t get any body art or piercings. Plus, you wouldn’t have to worry about scars or nasty tatoo removals in the future. Hey, just some food for thought. That chinese dragon you put on your lower back might look awesome when you’re 18, but when you’re 45 it will look more like a scene from the Friday The 13th movie.

What is it about body art? I can’t figure out why so many people want paintings on their skin. It seems like a desperate cry for attention to me. Don’t they know that the tattoo they acquire at age 25 is going to look a little bizarre at age 65? Well, I guess they could always resort to a tatoo removal process. Unfortunately I hear they’re quite painful. A buddy of mine, who was in the military, had an enormous tattoo on his back removed recently. He said that he had it professionally removed by a laser process. And you want to know what else he said? It hurt like hell! I mean it literally hurt much more than it did when he had it put on. I’d have to guess that’s pretty bad. Naturally it looked sore and red when I saw it. Once it was all over, he said if he had to do the tatoo removal process all over again, he would just keep the darn tattoo.

Today there are a few new alternatives. On the Internet you’ll find home tatoo removal kits. Now, I can’t say that these are effective like having your body art removed by a laser, but they may be worth checking into first if they’re less painful. I can’t help but offer advice to all who are pondering tattoos. Don’t get them! And especially if you’re having a tatoo removal surgery done, you know well enough not to run out and get another one. Try henna tattoos. This is all the rage right now and it wears off over time. You can have your cake and eat it too!
