You have been lied to! There are so many products out there that claim they eliminate cellulite. Let me tell you that most of these outrageous claims are false!
What exactly is cellulite anyway?
Cellulite is just a fancy name for fat that pushes against the connective tissue, causing the skin to pucker and look like cottage cheese. Most women and girls have some cellulite. How much you have depends on genes, body fat levels, age and the thickness of your skin. It also depends on gender. Women develop cellulite more often than men.
Cellulite is a “natural” condition but that does not stop women from feeling self-conscious when they go to the beach and compare their lumpy thighs to the smooth legs of other women. It is positively demoralizing.
I have worked with women all across the country that are concerned about cellulite and ask if I can recommend any products that would help. Often, they have spent hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on products that just don’t work. Also, many women think because they are over 30 that there isn’t any hope in reducing or eliminating cellulite.

Today, women are expected to attend to their career while taking care of family responsibilities. Before and after work, she is likely involved in meal preparation, seeing to the family’s needs along with doing the non-stop stream of household chores. Losing weight and staying in shape are both reasons why people jog. Those that play a sport on a regular basis find that jogging is a great way to stay in shape and keep their endurance up to a competitive level. Jogging can also be therapeutic and some that do it only for that very reason. No matter what your reason, you should always think about safe jogging tips when you go out for a run. You can never be too safe. If you go with your children, or with friends or spouse, teach them what you know about staying safe as well.
The first safe jogging tips you should think about are where and when you are going to jog. The where is important as not all places are safe. Many like to jog around their own neighborhood, which is fine, but if you jog on the street you may get hit by a car that can not see you coming, especially if you jog at night or in the early morning hours. Always be alert, keep music turned down so that you can hear everything around you, and wear bright, reflective clothing of some type so that you can be easily spotted. It can be harder for car drivers to see you than you think.
Safe jogging tips also include finding somewhere else to jog if you do not live where you feel safe after dark. In most cases, no one is going to bother you just because you are running, but you may get in the middle of something by mistake. It’s like being in the wrong place at the wrong time. See if you can go in another direction when you start out on your jog, or if there are some indoor places where you can run. Almost all women do battle with the problem of cellulite to some extent or another. Every women’s magazine is stuffed with ads for products promising to reduce or eliminate the problem. But is there an effective anti-cellulite treatment? Is there really a way to rid yourself of cellulite, forever?
Cellulite is that lumpy, bumpy, dimply appearance of fat, usually on the back of a womans thighs or rear end. It is often referred to as looking like “cottage cheese.” Women have spent thousands of dollars and countless hours searching for an anti-cellulite treatment which will create a smooth, supple look in those cellulite-ridden areas of their bodies.
In order to understand whether an anti cellulite treatment will work, its important to know what causes cellulite. Your body has fibrous strands of connective tissue which bond fat to your body. Cellulite occurs when fat bulges in between these connective tissues and collects in pockets. Be aware that no anti cellulite treatment invented so far can actually remedy the underlying causes or “cure” these fat bunches which appear as lumps under your skin. It simply cannot be done.
Nor can cellulite be treated through diet and exercise. Sadly, its true. The overall appearance of bumpiness can be reduced a bit by staying thin, that’s certain. But exercising the area where cellulite occurs is not in itself an effective anti cellulite treatment. Less fat overall is good for your health and your appearance, but it simply will not eliminate your cellulite completely.
On the other hand, there are a range of treatment options which can reduce the appearance of cellulite. In particular, there are many topical creams which may create a smoother appearance.
When shopping for an anti cellulite treatment cream, be aware that most will promise results which they can’t deliver. You want to find creams which contain ingredients which are proven to reduce the appearance of cellulite. Effective anti cellulite treatments may contain caffeine, retinol or the antioxidant DMAE. Regardless of whether you have short or long hair, keeping up with it can be a tough task. Great hair requires proper moisture levels, deep conditioning, shampooing, and conditioning. That’s why it is important to use only quality hair products, not necessarily expensive hair products.
For years, several of my clients who once had long tresses of hair would come into my salons and ask my stylist how can I restore my hair to it former glory? How can I get rid of my split ends? Or How can I grow longer and thicker hair? The answer would always be the same, treat your hair with respect. It is so easy to pull your hair back and tie it into a knot or to bleach it with chemicals that are so harsh they ruin the very foundation that you are seeking to build upon. Respecting your hair is your prime responsibility if you want to have longer and prettier hair that has shine and bounce like the models on television. These tips have not only worked for my stylist and the high profile celebrities who they must keep looking fabulous, but also for anyone who desires a better head of hair.
Develop a Hair Care Regime
Developing a routine is absolutely essential to restoring your hair to its former glory or to keep your hair looking great. Developing a hair care regime is simple. It just means coming up with a serious of things that your do to your hair on a regular basis. For instance, on Monday’s I wash my hair, on Tuesday’s I check my hair ends for splits, on Wednesday’s I deep condition my hair. If you have busy schedule this will help you out so much. Several of my clients have told me that within in weeks of developing a routine that they notice balding spots, kinks, and tough hair areas get better because of the extra care that their hair was able to receive. If you respect your body then you develop a schedule and make sure that you have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is the same way with your hair. How often have you missed a meal, because you did not schedule out your day. Probably many times. If you do not plan for something to happen then it probably will not.
Respect Your Scalp
I know that when you look at the hair of models, all that you see is long and flowing hair. However, if the model’s hair is real, then underneath all those wonderful shiny follicles will be a clean and healthy scalp. It’s simple, I would always tell my clients and stylist who I trained to think of hair as a flower that cannot bud or flourish if the roots are in disarray or if the scalp is in poor condition. If you show respect your car you keep it clean, if you respect your house then you keep it clean, if you respect you hair then you will keep it clean from dirt and debris that can cause fungus and bacteria to grow from product buildup. If you respect your hair then you will wash your hair and scalp to remove debris. It is necessary for you to wash your hair at least once per week if you want your hair to flourish.
