<p>The first thing you need to know when you want to know how to flatten stomach is that you are going to need some exercise. Aerobic exercise or cardiovascular exercise is a great way to start melting away the pounds. I recommend using <strong>interval training</strong> . Interval training means you do intense aerobic exercise for a period of time then you interval moderate exercise and repeat. An example of this would be go out for a run and run full speed for 1 minute and the jog for 20 seconds and keep repeating for 20-30 minutes. Interval training speeds up metabolism and burns a lot of calories.</p>

<strong>How to flatten stomach fat using weight or resistance training:</strong></p>
<p>You should do<strong> weight training</strong> at least 2-3 times a week. Work on different part of the body each time you do your weight training. The muscles you build weight lifting are continuously burning calories even when your body is at rest.</p>
<p>You can flatten your stomach bulge by doing abdominal exercises. Even though you can&#8217;t spot-reduce fat, you can start toning the muscles under the fat by doing<strong> abdominal exercises</strong>. There are many very good abdominal exercise to tone your stomach muscles. I have found the best of these exercises are the captain&#8217;s chair, the bicycle and stomach crunch on an exercise ball.</p>
<p><strong> Captains Chair</strong></p>
<p>This exercise is done using a piece of equipment found in most gyms.</p>
<p>1. Stand on chair and grip hand holds to stabilize your upper body.</p>
<p>2. Press your back against the pad and contract the abs to raise the legs and lift knees towards your chest.</p>
<p>3. Don&#8217;t arch the back and remember to breathe smoothly.</p>
<p><strong> The Bicycle</strong></p>
<p>This exercise can be done anywhere laying on the floor.</p>
<p>1. Lie face up on the floor and lace your fingers behind your head.</p>
<p>2. Bring the knees in towards the chest and lift the shoulder blades off the ground without pulling on the neck.</p>
<p>3. Straighten the left leg out while simultaneously turning the upper body to the right, bringing the left elbow towards the right knee.</p>
<p>4. Switch sides, bringing the right elbow towards the left knee.</p>
<p><strong> Crunch on an Exercise Ball</strong></p>
<p>An excellent exercise done using an exercise ball.</p>
<p>1. Lie face-up with the ball resting under your mid/lower back.</p>
<p>2. Cross your arms over the chest or place them behind your head.</p>
<p>3. Contract your abs to lift your torso off the ball, pulling the bottom of your ribcage down toward your hips.</p>
<p>4. As you curl up, keep the ball stable.</p>
<p>5. Lower back down, getting a stretch in the belly.

<p>As you can probably tell these are just some examples of how to flatten stomach. Regardless if you start with a couple of these suggestions or go all in it is important to just get started and you will start melting the fat away. As you might suspect exercise alone is not going to flatten your stomach you will need to include a healthy diet plan with your workout to flatten your stomach.</p>

When it&#8217;s time to rid the yard of leaves use the old fashioned hand rake rather than the leaf blower. Muscle power is exercise. If you have kids get involved in their games of tag, or chase. They&#8217;ll love it and so will your body.</p>
<p>After getting accustomed to walking that 30 minutes every day, make some adjustments by adding intervals. Intervals are short bursts of increased activity sprinkled into a normal routine. Start out by running for 30 seconds every 10 minutes of the walk. Gradually increase this to a one minute run every five minutes, which would work like this. You walk for the first four minutes, then run for the fifth, then walk the next four minutes, run the next minute, and so on for the entire 30 minutes. Keep in mind that a run is not a jog, it&#8217;s faster, like a sprint. So if you have to work up to run with jog at first.</p>
<p>Walking to <span style="text-decoration: underline;">lose weight</span> is healthy, no doubt. But it&#8217;s also a great way to get around the neighborhood, meet neighbors, and see things you probably miss while driving around everywhere you go. If it gets boring you can ask a spouse or family member to join you. Make it a family affair, or get the whole neighborhood involved.</p>

<p>When people want to lose <u>weight</u> one of the most common things they do is to skip meals. Hey, if eating fewer calories is the goal then why not skip breakfast or lunch. Fewer calories means losing weight, right? Yes, but skipping meals is a mistake, not the right way to reduce calories. When you skip meals your body goes into starvation mode. It starts to retain fat to counteract what it perceives as being starved. Another problem with skipping meals is that when you finally eat you&#8217;ll be a lot more hungry. This could lead to <strong>binge eating</strong>. Skipping a meal plus binge eating, then, will likely result in eating more calories and the body gaining even more weight from those calories than normally. It&#8217;s the worst of both worlds. Don&#8217;t skip meals.</p>
<p><strong>Know how much to eat.</strong> It&#8217;s called portion control and it&#8217;s as important as eating the right foods. Too much of even a healthy food will still result in weight gain. It&#8217;s hard to do when large portions are so common. Restaurants and even most people in home cooking serve portions far larger than needed. Sources such as the FDA list recommended daily allowances. If you must eat out, keep portion size in mind. You&#8217;ll likely have to cut down on what a restaurant serves.</p>
<p><strong>Eat more whole grain foods</strong>, skip the white grains such as white bread, sugar and white rice. Whole grains are rich in nutrients and low in fat. The fiber in whole grains will make you feel fuller faster and longer. Also whole grains contain many nutrients that are often lacking in people&#8217;s diets.</p>
<p><strong>Drink more water</strong>. Drink it instead of juices and sodas which add about 90,000 calories to the average person&#8217;s diet each year. Drink it between meals too. In fact, the goal is 8 glasses of water each day. It seems like a lot, but it&#8217;s not. Drinking water will also promote health in general by keeping you well hydrated and helping to avoid overheating.</p>
<p><strong>Eat healthy snacks between meals</strong>. The body needs food every three to four hours to maintain proper blood sugar. Eating healthy snacks, such as fruits, helps control eating at meal times.</p>
<p>Fast <span style="font-style: italic;">weight loss</span> isn&#8217;t impossible with a little knowledge and planning. Keep these things in mind and pretty soon you&#8217;ll see a slimmer you when you look into a mirror.</p>
